I think you are right that we don't think of ourselves as a nation at war. There are no victory gardens, no rationing stamps for food and gas, no united support of the troups and their families. We continue on in our safe lives, oftentimes saturated with materialism and pleasure-seekig of all kinds.
I thought about you and your family when I heard the news. When will America wake up that this is in all of our backyards, that we are a nation at war, that we need to reconnect with what it means to one nation under God?
KM has it right...when will we reconnet under God? Why can people just not see?
